How to Make Your Nico Robin Costume

One of the most crucial parts of the Nico Robin costume is her skirt. It’s a sari style which is wrapped around her body and tied at the side. The skirt is long and salmon colored, with images of seaweed and flowers on one side. Since the skirt wraps around, it often has a gap which shows one of her long legs.

It’s easy to get your hands on a replica of the sari skirt in a ready-to-wear costume. Alternatively, you could buy a sari skirt or material in a similar color to wrap around your body. You could use fabric paint to add the details to the side of the skirt.

Nico’s top is blue, cropped, and looks like a leather material. It has a zip down the front which is often zipped quite low to show her chest. It has short sleeves and is tight fitting. How to Make Your Hatsune Miku Costume

Hatsune Miku wears a grayish-silver shirt with a blue hem. It’s sleeveless to allow plenty of arm movement during performances. On one side across the chest there is a yellow stripe and the word ‘vocaloid’ in black capital lettering.

There are plenty of options for ready to wear Hastume Miku costumes, where you can get the exact shirt for your cosplay. However, if you are feeling crafty you could make one from a gray shirt by sewing on the extra details.

How to Make Your Cammy Costume 

The main piece of Cammy’s costume is the green leotard. It’s quite a bright green, with no sleeves and a high neck. It’s tight fitting and should be made from a fairly stretchy material so you’re ready for battle. You need to be able to do all those Cammy moves for your poses!

You can purchase the leotard as part of a ready-made Cammy costume, or you can simply buy a plain green leotard.

• Find a green leotard or buy one as part of a Cammy costume.
• Ensure it has a high neckline and fits close to your body.

Another vital part of the costume is the red beret she wears on top of her head. It’s made of wool but this isn’t as important as the bright red color – any red beret will do. You can buy one as part of a Cammy costume, or find one online.

In many depictions of the character, the red beret also has a Delta red logo on it. This is an upside-down triangle in gold with an eagle in the middle. In the center of the eagle, there is a shield made up of white and red squares. This is an excellent detail to add if you want to go all-out for your cosplay. You could buy a beret with the logo already on it, buy a pin of the logo to add, or have a go at making your own.

How to Make Your Costume

The first thing you’ll need is the Jinx crop top. There are two ways you can do this – you can go for the black leather-looking crop top with a fabric cross. The cross is threaded through four metal eyelets. Alternatively, some people choose the black and pink leather halter top look.

Both looks are impressive and give off that badass Jinx vibe. Some people even choose an interpretation of their own – the most important thing is that the top is cropped.

You can buy the crop top as part of a ready-made Jinx costume, or you can buy a plain tank top and customize it yourself if you’re handy with crafts.

• Choose either a black leather crop top with a cross on it, or a pink and black halter type top.
• Buy one ready-made or use a plain crop top and add details yourself.

The classic Jinx trousers are striped purple or pink which are somewhat distressed –  you have to look like you’ve been in battle, of course. They end either just below or just above the knee. If you choose to do the pink and black halter top, you may want the bottoms to be striped shorts and add fishnets to the lower leg to complete the look.

You can buy the striped bottoms ready-made. Or you can simply use fabric paint or duct tape on jeans or leggings.

Now that you’ve got the basics of the outfit, you need to add the main accessories. The most important ones are the belt and long gloves.

The belt is black and looks like leather. It’s a tactical belt, and in some depictions has armor-like bullets attached to it. In some versions of Jinx, the belt has multiple parts that cross over one another. This is a great opportunity to add your own interpretation and make a creative Jinx-inspired belt. Alternatively, you can buy one ready-made for a Jinx cosplay.

Next are the gloves – they’re long and extend up past her elbow. They’re also fingerless in most depictions, although in some one glove has fingers and the other doesn’t. Depending on which version of Jinx you choose, the gloves may be black and leather-looking, black and pink, or striped purple with some black leather parts. This is another great opportunity to get creative and add your own twist to the gloves.

Of course, we couldn’t cosplay Jinx without her absolutely iconic hair. The character has bright blue hair that goes down to her lower legs! It’s always styled in two braids with a loose bit of shorter hair at the front which sweeps over and frames her face.

To pull off the Jinx look, you’ll need a bright blue wig. You can buy ones that are already styled, or buy one and style it yourself to match Jinx’s hair. Make sure the wig is well attached so you can flip those blue braids around and get some amazing photos!

How to Make Your Costume

There are lots of different versions of Wonder Woman, but we’ll stick to the most well-known, original Wonder Woman costume. Let’s get stuck in!

Let’s start with the most obvious part of the outfit – the red top! The top is strapless, tight, and has gold detailing. The detailing is around the bust and in some cases, down the top. The shape iof the gold is typically a W although in some cases people add a golden eagle or other additional details.

You could buy the Wonder Woman top ready made as part of a costume. Alternatively, you could buy a red strapless top and add the detailing yourself. You could sew on gold fabric, attach cardboard or craft foam spray painted gold, or even use gold duct tape!

• Choose a red strapless top that is fitted or purchase a ready made Wonder Woman top.
• Add gold detailing with craft supplies if needed.

The blue bottoms are another staple of the outfit. You can choose bright blue shorts or a skirt. Whichever you choose, it should be short and high-waisted to match the character.

If you want to go with the classic comic look, you can add white stars to the bottoms. You can do this by gluing on white paper or card, drawing them on with a fabric pen or paint, or sewing on white fabric. If you buy a ready-made costume, they may already be added for you.

Wonder Woman’s lasso is magical, with many powerful properties. If you choose to add the lasso, it should be golden. You can hold it or attach it to your belt (which we’ll talk about later).

The shield is optional – Wonder Woman doesn’t always carry it but it can make an excellent addition to a cosplay. You can either choose to have a red and blue shield with a golden W in the middle to match the rest of the costume. Or, you can go for a ‘metal-looking’ shield in gold or silver.

You can purchase a toy shield and add decoration with paints if needed. Or you could make a shield out of cardboard or other craft items.

Like the shield, the cape is optional. Not all of the Wonder Woman versions wear a cape, and when she does wear one it tends to be for special occasions. However, you might want to include it to add some flare to your cosplay.

Alternatively, you could make them from cardboard or sew them from fabric.

How to Make Your Costume

The most iconic part of 2B’s outfit is without doubt the black dress. Her dress is a turtle-neck black dress with puff sleeves. It has a flowy skirt featuring silver accents and a cut-out across the chest filled with some interesting patterns. The skirt part of the dress is very short and has a high slight right up the thigh to allow her to perform a wide range of moves during battle.

You can mimic the dress in one of three ways. You can buy a 2B costume with the dress ready-made.
