Gojo Satoru (or Satoru Gojo) is one of the main characters in the popular Jujutsu Kaisen series. A powerful sorcerer and influential teacher, he’s a strong character with a playful side. He’s incredibly popular to cosplay by all genders and has a pretty simple outfit.
Our guide will take you through how to cosplay Gojo, as well as provide some inspiration with our favorite Gojo Satoru cosplays.
How to Make Your Gojo Satoru Costume

01
Jacket
Gojo wears a black jacket with a high collar - think like a turtleneck. He wears the jacket closed all the way up, so you can wear anything you like underneath. Although, in theory he wears a white shirt underneath. His jacket appears to have a shiny texture to it, but this is less important than the color and style.
The jacket comes with ready-to-wear Gojo Satoru costumes, but you can easily find any plain black jacket with a high collar if you prefer. Some cosplayers even use a turtle neck jumper or top to mimic his style. But if you’re going for accuracy, the jacket is key.
- Our character wears a black jacket with a high collar.
- Source a similar jacket or top for your costume.

02
Trousers
To match his jacket, our character wears slim-fitting black dress pants. They have a shiny finish like the jacket, but again this matters less than the color and style.
If you buy a Gojo costume, the pants will come with it along with the jacket. Alternatively, you could buy any pair of black dress pants. That’s the beauty of this character - he’s pretty easy to cosplay!

- Find some similar black pants to match the jacket.

03
Wig
There’s no denying that our sorcerer’s hair is iconic! It’s silvery-white, short, and very spiky.
If you have short hair, you may be able to mimic this style with temporary dye or colored wax. However, for most people, a wig will be needed. Thankfully, there are tons of pre-styled wigs available that match his unique style.
- If you have short hair, use temporary color and wax to match Gojo’s hair.
- If not, find a pre styled silver or white wig you can wear over your natural hair.

04
Eye Mask or Sunglasses
Of course, it wouldn’t be Gojo Satoru without the blindfold. It’s a snugly fit, elasticated black eye mask which he usually wears completely covering his eyes.
This is perfect for pictures, but of course you can’t walk around it with it blocking your vision. There are a few ways you can get around this. Some cosplayers get inventive with see-through black material to make their mask. Others choose to only wear it sometimes, or lift one side of it to reveal one eye as the character sometimes does. If you’re skilled with makeup, you could use face paint or makeup to draw on the mask so you can see while giving a similar effect.
Sometimes Gojo wears black sunglasses instead of the mask. Although these are less true to character as he doesn’t wear them often, you could opt for some sunglasses for your look. They’re easier to source and wear.
- Our main character almost always wears a black blindfold covering his eyes.
- Buy or make a blindfold or opt for the more casual look with sunglasses.

05
Shoes
To match his smart outfit, our character wears black dress shoes or boots. They go in at the toe, in an almost pointed style. Either shoes or boots work as long as they are the right style and color.
Ready-made costumes don’t tend to come with the Gojo shoes, so you’ll need to find some yourself. If you have any black shoes around the house, those will probably work. Or you can buy some affordable ones that match the character’s vibe.
- Gojo Satoru wears black dress shoes to match his smart outfit.
- Find some black shoes or boots that fit with the style.

06
Fine Details
Adding little details can make your cosplay stand out and show how much thought you’ve put into your costume. You could play around with makeup to match our character’s striking eyes. Consider adding some dark mascara or false lashes and some black eyeliner. If you want to go all out, consider some colored contacts to mimic his bright blue eyes.
